I’m a Product Designer from Aotearoa New Zealand, based in Sydney, Australia.
My background is in music and food. I achieved a Masters Degree in Sound Recording and Design from the University of Auckland, and a Bachelor of Music and Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing) from the University of Otago.
Prior to my move into UX/UI Design, I was the co-founder and head of operations at Batchwell, a New Zealand based kombucha brewery. My 6 years in FMCG (fast moving consumer goods) taught me many a hard earned lesson, and honed a broad range of skills including development and delivery of products across the entire lifecycle, packaging design, managing teams and quality control, not to mention sheer graft and determination.
My design philosophy centres on exploration, problem-solving, and iterative improvement. I aim to build beautiful products and experiences based on research. I'm a team player and love to collaborate with people who are passionate at what they do.
I am interested in designing for companies who are user focused (or willing to be), forward thinking, inclusive, and inspired.
In life outside work, I love hiking, running, cooking, playing music, and playing golf (a true and constant battle of body and mind). I try to swim in a natural body of water once a month, and I adore my friends and family.
Have a look around and please reach out with any work inquiries or simply for a chinwag.
